My husband was backing the jeep out of the driveway. Once the jeep was put in drive it accelerated without touching the gas pedal. It took my husband to put both feet on the brake to stop and place the jeep in park. When the engine stopped reving he was able to put the jeep in drive and proceed down the driveway. He drove about 15 feet and the jeep stalled. Now i drive this jeep on average about 800 miles per week.…

The speed control will not hold a consistant speed, it will slowly drop in speed on level ground, down hill, and up hill. When the speed drops to a certain level the transmission will shift to a lower gear and then founder some more.
