Dt*: the contact stated while driving 70 mph on a normal highway, a tire failure was noticed. No warning signal alerted the contact. The rear left tire blew out after tread separation and the vehicle sustained body damage. The vehicle was taken to the dealership who determined the rear right tire's tread had separated. The manufacturer had not been contacted. The tire was a dunlop p235/70r16.
