I have no heat in this vehicle. I replace a part and detached the glove compartment permanently so that i can turn a knob to get heat, at least, on the driver side. There is zero heat on the passenger side, but i engage the "c" button and the passenger side gets recirculated air on that side, (not warm, but at least not freezing cold). Sometimes turning the knob engages the heat, sometimes not. I have discovered…

Total loss of heat on the passenger side. Now the drivers side has no heat either. I live in canada and we need the heat to work or the vehicle is totally useless if you can't see out the windshield! Jeep dealers are aware of the problem, but won't fix it by recall. They expect you to pay anywhere from 800-1500 for them to fix it and a loss of your jeep for at least 3 days. This is nuts! *tr

When the weather gets cold and i turn the heater it only blows cold air. While driving through atlanta this past tuesday i nearly had an accident because the windows were fogged up. It is impossible to keep the windows from fogging up unless you open the windows (not smart with 35 degrees outside) or you turn the vent, which is the same as opening the windows. *tr

The heater in my 2003 jeep grand cherokee overland has failed due to a known defect in the temperature blender door that prevents heat from getting redirected onto the windshield to defrost the glass. They already have a fix for this known faulty system but the repair does not fix the solution, it only delays it till it breaks again. The company should make the permanent repair a recall as the system can fail at an inopportune…

Heater or defrost does not work right because of a blend door failure and is very unsafe. Upon checking around how to fix i ran across thousands of others having same problem and costing them $1200-$1900 to get fixed and it should be a recall to get repaired. It is just not right and very unsafe! *tr

While driving my 2003 jeep grand cherokee, in cold conditions, i found that the ac/heater output was insufficient to keep the windshield defrosted and defogged, resulting in extremely unsafe driving conditions. The fan works, but no air comes out. I researched the problem and found that it is due to a blend-door defect, common to that model/year jeep. The vehicle has approx. 72,000 miles on it. I can't safely drive…
