Total loss of heat on the passenger side. Now the drivers side has no heat either. I live in canada and we need the heat to work or the vehicle is totally useless if you can't see out the windshield! Jeep dealers are aware of the problem, but won't fix it by recall. They expect you to pay anywhere from 800-1500 for them to fix it and a loss of your jeep for at least 3 days. This is nuts! *tr

Wiring harness that goes behind valve cover is melted. I have had to have my 2003 jeep grand cherokee's # 3 injection wire replaced twice. Once before 70,000 miles and again within the last year. While it was still under warranty the vehicle would spit and sputter and i'd smell gas. The vehicle would stall. The facility changed the #3 injector and it ran okay for a short time. It did it again and "something else"…

Recently, both of my rear window regulators have broke and i have had to tape my windows up since i cannot afford $800 out of pocket right now. This is obviously a well known jeep grand cherokee problem. I have known of others having this problem with their…

Noticed a decrease in gas mileage and check engine light on. About 1 month after radio would pop loudly gauges on dash would act erratically, digital mileage screen would flicker, vehicle stalls while driving or sitting at a stand still and then restart on its own. While driving and it stalls you loose steering, antilock brakes. Car returns to normal idle and symbols stay lit on dash, (brake, airbag, check engine…

Research has shown all 1999-2004 jeep grand cherokees with electronic dual climate controls (ac) will eventually require major repair in order to cure hot air/cold air blowing from vents when they're not set to do so. The cost to repair this issue, which has been known to pop up again after another 50k miles after repair, is generally $800-$1500 from a dealership. My jeep has this issue and it is caused by poor…

    Electrical System · Steering

Main problem is the steering. Ever since i've had the vehicle there have been four alignments conducted and each time the toe was out of specs. The first alignment was done at 1200 miles and recently just had another at 26000. Vehicle continues to pull right even though there have been four alignments. It is not a 4x4 and i do not drive off road with it. Dealership said they took apart all components of the steering…
