    Fuel/Propulsion System

When filling up my jeep with gas the filler neck over flows every single time and i heard the counterparts on the dodge durango is having the same issue and there is a recall on them fixing the same issue. This is a huge environmental hazard and since other jeep owners i know with the same make and model are having the same issue.

    Fuel/Propulsion System · Tank Assembly

Diesel fuel is leaking from bottom of the tank. Insufficient space between factory integrated skid plate/ hangar traps salt and grim/ debris . Insufficient drainage leads to fuel tank rotting from exterior side and leak raw diesel fuel onto roadways and parking surfaces.

    Fuel/Propulsion System

Fuel tank has begun leaking diesel with less than 120000 miles on the vehicle. This is clearly the result of a design flaw on these diesel jeeps. The fuel tank is made of ferrous metal (steel) and is attached to the vehicle with a steel skid plate. There is very little clearance between the skid plate and the fuel tank. This results in the trapping of debris and moisture and resulting in rust damage to the fuel…

    Fuel/Propulsion System

Noticed leaking of diesel from the fuel tank (wet spot in parking). Appears the tank was corroded, and leaking on one of the seams. According to garage, dirt collected between the tank (metal) and the skid plate (metal) resulted in the leak. Looking at some forums, this appears to be happening frequently.

My vehicle kept stalling like it was running out of gas and i took it to the jeep dealer. They kept my car for a week and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it.they told me it might be a fuel pump issue but they weren't positive so they asked me to pick up my car and keep a log. The second time it happened i took it back to the dealer and they kept my car for 5 weeks and couldn't replicate the issue. The…

So the starter has been a issue ever since i bought the car from my father 2 years ago. The key seems to be the problem since i got the starter rebuilt. It just doesn't start and will turn off at times for no apparent reason which would scare everyone in the car. I was wondering if there is a recall because there should be. *tr

I was driving the jeep and it accelerated suddenly as if the throttle was stuck. The throttle pedal in fact was not stuck and i had to shift into neutral to get it to stop accelerating. After shifting to neutral, the jeep stalled in the roadway and i ended up driving through my neighbor's yard to avoid pulling out into a busy intersection as i had no brakes or steering. I almost ran over a pedestrian i didn't see…

On many occasions both my husband and i have smelled gasoline when getting into the car as well as when driving the car. This is not after fueling the car when there may be a smell of gasoline. Its when it has been sitting or just driving down the road. We have not noticed a leak. I have seen on the news today that the national highway traffic safety is wanting a recall of certain model jeep grand cherokee's but the…
