I took my car in for a routine oil change and was informed that the rack and pinion steering assembly was leaking power steering fluid and that my power steering fluid reservoir was nearly empty. My car has 80k miles on it. This appears to be a common complain amongst owners of my make and model vehicle.

During a routine check of vehicle fluids, i discovered that the power steering reservoir was empty. The dealer said "power steering reservoir is low from factory and is topped off during service".
