My front seat belts do not retract at i had to replace my driver side seat belt for now which is over $500.00 dollars and my passenger side soon..

The front two seat belts in my vehicle do not retract back to their original position. This is at all times, only solution is to feed the belt back into the retractor by hand to let it reel in. Dealer said there is no recall for this issue.

The front passenger seatbelt will not retract, therefore it will not lock into place. We are unable to have a front passenger because of this safety issue. We have tried to get it to retract while in park or drive, also with the jeep turned off.

The seat best tensioners on both front seat belts have cracked. The drivers side seat belt will not retract to keep driver secure. The vehicle has an extended warranty but the repairs for this issue are not covered. The repairs will cost $750 in parts in addition to labor. From searching online i see many other people having the same problem. This should be a safety recall.

Vehicle was involved in an accident driving on a highway (speed approx. 45) when another vehicle failed to yield at a stop sign. Front passenger side of vehicle impact with front of other vehicle. Air bags did not deploy and the seat belt did not lock causing the driver's face to hit the steering wheel. Due to the seat belt not locking facial injuries were sustained.

Driver seat belt does not retract. The dealer will replace the seat belt under warranty as soon as the new parts arrive. I will avoid driving the vehicle with a non-functioning seat belt because it is unsafe and may be illegal in my state.

Even if the seat belt is forced to latch, the belt stuck in the corner of the buckle unless you adjust to the right angle to tighten the belt.
