A door in the system routinely breaks or strips as soon as the vehicle has passed the manufacturers warranty end date. The luggage rack on the top of the vehicle pulled out. The screws and the crush nut below pulled right through the hole for the screw. This was done as we were tightening a strap to hold on 2 pvc pipes on the top. The only way one can secure anything on the top is to strap it to the side rails. Purchased november 2001, had two recalls for fuel system within two months, dealer told me there was previous recall fixed before i purchased. Rotor needs replacing every 7 months. Improper rotor was put on the vehicle to start with. I can pay to have the proper one put on now. The cherokee shakes all over when you apply the brakes and is more difficult to stop. I have had a different rotor put on twice and chrysler will not repair it again.
